Alejandro Ramirez

Alejandro is Spanish, but he came to Portugal when he was 7 years old and he didn’t leave yet! He choose to stay in Lisbon to study college instead of going back to Madrid. He took Hospitality Management as a career due to his ability to create empathy with people and his fluency in Spanish, Portuguese and English languages. He believes that in order to a traveler to fully enjoy travelling, he must feel at home and be understood, so good communication is mandatory. After two years at a front office in a hotel in Lisbon he moved to TourTailors to expand his options. “Why promote only one city, when you can show the whole country?” he asks. Even better! His two favorite countries! Portugal and Spain have hidden gems, secrets, amazing culture and gastronomy waiting to be discovered, and Alejandro will be one of the best assistants to discover it all!

Alex Beltrão

Alex is passionate about creating simple and easy IT solutions. He arrived from Brazil to make his childhood dream come true by living in Portugal. So much that, even before working in IT, he was a guide in the historic centre of Lisbon, an experience that left many incredible histories to tell about the oldest neighbourhoods of the Portuguese capital city. Videomaking is another of his passions, as he adores creating travel videos of the best places to visit and the best gastronomy to taste.

Ana Carla Cabrita

Ana Carla is a Nature Guide in Costa Vicentina, one of the best-preserved coastal areas in Europe. An Ecologist, she loves to share all the corners of this nature park, which was her playground growing up, and firmly believes that it will charm all visitors who walk there. Born in Sagres and with degree in Business Communication and Public Relations, nature was her calling and it led her to a post-graduation in “Active Tourism in Nature Areas”, in Seville. She’s co-author of the Plant guide “200 Plantas do SW Alentejano & Costa Vicentina”. Each guide hike with Ana Carla is tailored to the visitor’s interest and it is also a walk in history, nature and local traditions.

Ana López Guerra

Ana is an official tourist guide in Seville. She has been working as a tour guide for more than 15 years and she loves her job. It is a pleasure to show off her city, hoping you will enjoy it. “We will explore together the highlights in Seville and my purpose is that you would like to return”.

Ana Medinas

I am a Portuguese Tour Guide living in Carcavelos, near Cascais on the beautiful coast of Lisbon. I was brought up with one foot on the plains of the southern region of Alentejo where food and wine are a way of expressing affection, and the other on the beach region of Cascais where the constant coming and going of the waves of the Atlantic Ocean define the local’s traits as travelers and explorers. I studied literature at the University in my early 20s and from then on I felt the wonder of expressing myself in writing as well as verbally.  I often say that after my later training as an Interpreter Guide, I started to see reading and writing as my more meditative side and my oral expressiveness as a working tool. I am, therefore, an eternal defender of communication and, above all, of words and languages: so far I speak 5 fluently! Food, wine, long walks, paintings and art in general are my all time favorites and I dedicate my life to explore these with people sharing the same passions!

Ana Mercader

Ana was born in Madrid and considers herself to be a “purebred Madrilenian”. She loves her city and since she was little, she lived it intensely. Independently from the different times of Ana’s life: young girl, adolescent or university student, she’s always discovered different corners of Madrid. Her passion for beauty led her to take a masters in History of Art, when she finished it, she began to look at life with a different perspective. Her interest in continuing to learn made her finish her studies in Rome where she ended up living and working as a tourist guide, that’s where she discovered how to turn her passion into a profession. As “the land called”, after living 10 years in Rome, she returned to Madrid to rediscover it and found a city that was becoming even more fascinating than she remembered. Since then her life goal has been making her clients falling in love with Madrid and Spain: with its history, beauty, heritage but also with its vitality and gastronomy! She likes to be always aware of the latest restaurants and always knows where to have some good wine or the best Tortillas.

André Pereira

André was born and raised in the northern city of Porto. A true “tripeiro” who studied History and majored in Tourism. Always worked for the past 10 years as a tour guide, he shares his own passion/ job with people from all over the world. Keen on the History of Judaism and American Studies, aside from working as a tour guide in Porto, Braga, Guimarães, and the Douro Valley, André also shares his taste in music, by being a vinyl aficionado. His tours always encompass a bit of everything: history, culture, gastronomy, wine, and important hints & tips of what to do and where to go in Portugal. On a rainy or sunny day, André is always ready to share Portugal, especially Porto, with those who never visited before.

Anna Brini

Anna Brini is 100% from Bologna and she has a First Class degree with honours in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Bologna. It goes without saying that she is also a qualified Tour Guide, Tour Leader and Nature Guide in both English and French. She is an active caving enthusiast and since 1989 she has been an operative member of the Corpo Volontario Soccorso Civile, which is involved in activities of civil defence, caving, hiking and climbing. Her curiosity and insatiable desire to learn new things has led her to cultivate a particular interest in art, local history and natural sciences. She has long worked together with the major institutions, the City Council, museums, associations and regional park authorities, in order to find out more about the exceptional cultural and natural heritage of her city and province so that she can teach others about it with awareness and professional skill. She loves her city and region and she is proud of them. And she do whatever it takes to transmit this passion of hers.

Beatriz Cassona

Beatriz was born and raised in Sintra and believes that it is possible to make people travel through words and stories. With a degree in Journalism and a course in Digital Communication and Web, she realized that writing is also a way to visit places and experience new things. She has traveled to several countries, including Holland, Spain, Tunisia, England and France, and seeks to explore every corner of her wonderful country, Portugal. She never misses an opportunity to discover new cultures, new traditions and new ways of life. Beatriz loves being in touch with nature and does not say no to a good camping experience! Working as a Content Editor at TourTailors gives her the perfect opportunity to share with you everything there is to know about new experiences, new places, new stories.

Catarina Firmo

Catarina’s passion for travelling started when she was a little girl, and started to travel with her parents and grandparents through Portugal and Spain. Then when she lived in Brussels started to explore Central Europe and the world, and met people from all over the world. This made her follow a degree in Hospitality Management, and since then, her passions have been travelling, share the Portuguese culture and organizing trips. Any free time she gets is an excuse to discover somewhere new, and that is the best feeling.

Catarina Martins

Catarina has started her route in tourism travelling by car with her parents from North to South of Portugal. At the age of 12, she began organizing trips for her family and, at the same age, left with her family in a car adventure along several European countries, such as Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Her main interests are traveling, learning new languages and try new restaurants in every place she visits. Catarina was born and raised in Inner Portugal and took her bachelor in Tourism, Territory and Heritage by Coimbra’s University. During her life, she had the opportunity to live in different regions of Portugal and to adapt to the national cultural diversity. With the goal of learning about other cultures and how to attract tourists, she went to Stockholm, Sweden, to work in tourism and has visited Cape Verde and Thailand and she is keeping her promise to visit a new country every year. As a TourTailors Travel Consultant, Catarina will be able to show you what her loved country has best and to meet your expectations.

Chiara Giancaspro

An Italian globetrotter, born in Italy and lived and worked in Spain and now in Portugal. She was enchanted by the landscapes and variety of the Iberian Peninsula. She loves travelling, music, good food and experience new cultures. An engineering graduate with a master’s degree in tourism, she has already worked in the organization of cultural events and has now discovered her new passion: organizing travel. Finally happy to combine her passions with her work coming into contact and collaborating with tourists from all over the world to organize the trip of their dreams.

Cristina Chagas

Cristina, since childhood, won the taste for traveling and seeing the world. The only Continent missing now is Oceania, but it won’t be for long! Totally in love with meeting new realities and cultures, she saw in Tourism an excellent opportunity to share her taste for traveling with others. Has a Degree in Business Communication and also has a Master’s Degree in Advertising. Although Tourism is not her area of expertise, she won her passion through all her experiences as a traveler. Currently lives in a town by the sea on the outskirts of Lisbon, having previously lived in Barcelona (Spain). Her greatest wish is to share all her knowledge and to make every trip, to Portugal and Spain, unforgettable! For her there is no greater satisfaction than seeing that the trip she designed exceeded the expectations of the visitors! Feels fully accomplished now that she found her true calling as a Travel Consultant at TourTailors!

Diana Ramos

Diana discovered her passion for travelling when she was a young child and it has not stopped growing.  Her curiosity has led her to visit a lot of places in Iberian Peninsula, but she desires to visit and learn much more about her homeland and Spain. She loves Portugal and Portuguese food, and is really proud of the fact that her homeland has so much variety to offer. Every year she takes half of her vacation to discover more about Portugal and Spain, and the other half to explore other parts of the world. Diana graduated in Tourism Management in Portugal and also earned a certificate in Guest Service and International Tourism from the University of Central Florida, in the USA.   Her enthusiasm for the Tourism Industry was reinforced by travelling in other countries, learning about different cultures, and even more by living and working in the USA where she shared her experiences with people of many countries and with different perspectives. Working at TourTailors gives her the opportunity to put together all of her passions, and she truly loves it!

Didier Andrade

Didier is a French name, but this fine specimen of Portuguese descendancy was born and raised in the archipelago of Cabo Verde. During childhood, he frequently took summer vacations both in Portugal and later in the US. Having lived a big part of his life in an island, was a developing ground for seeking new adventures and to be eager to discover new places in the globe. Later on, Didier travelled to São Paulo, Brazil for a few months of study and then switched to Lisbon, Portugal, where he began his studies on production and marketing of audiovisual contents. Didier eventually fell in love with Portugal and keeps the northern part of this country dearly saved inside a corner of his heart. Music, instrumentalism, photography, video/movie making and culinary are some of Didier’s most beloved activities.

Diogo Caldeira e Ricardo Mendonça

The idea came up during a dinner with friends, between glasses of wine and typical cuisine. Ricardo was finishing his master’s degree in cultural tourism product development at the university in 2014 and had a huge passion for history, heritage books and, as a professor, he loved talking and teaching cultural aspects to friends in the city he loves and lives, the city of Évora. Diogo worked at a worldwide known multinational company as an IT project manager and service coordinator and always had the ambition to one day create and run a customer focused business. He’s restless mind and willingness to evolve moves him into continuously looking for new challenges. Taking the friendship as the base both shared a taste for travel, cultural experiences and organizing visits and trips for friends and family. Due to the taste of both for entrepreneurship and because they saw that their personal and professional skills were perfectly complete, they decided to start a common professional project, first as a tourist entertainment company in the city of Évora facing a segment of the cultural tourism market, offering which at the time was scarce or of poor quality.

Eduardo Melo Cláudio

Eduardo likes to think of himself as a person of multiple interests. Has built a solid career in Portugal’s number one Telecommunications and Internet service provider where he took over management jobs in the areas of Product Development and Management, Customer Service and IT Management. During the time he worked as Product Manager he launched Mimo, the first worldwide pre-paid mobile phone, which is mentioned to this day as one of the greatest Portuguese innovations of all times. This drive towards innovation led him to join professional and personal interests – to travel and to enjoy life to the fullest – and Portugal Trails, now TourTailors, was born. This is a project that he grabbed with deep conviction and with the belief that TourTailors innovative approach allows travelling in an independent and yet safe way and enhanced by local travel consultants.

Elsa Páscoa

A foodie and a history lover with a sense of humor, Elsa is a tour guide with more than one decade of experience in tourism. Do a tour with her and you will for sure fall in love with Portugal. It is not only her passion, it is her big smile and the enthusiasm for sharing the uniqueness of Portuguese culture and gastronomy. Elsa knows the best spots, the hidden gems, the shortcuts, the history, all the fun curiosities and, of course, the best restaurants. Her tours offer the best mix of fun and information.

Eric Zint

After living in Honduras, Germany and Australia and traveling all over the world, Eric chose the spectacular Granada as his home and co-founded his tour company Walk in Granada which he now manages along with Jago and Juan Pedro. Despite having a degree in Industrial Engineering, his passion for traveling made him pursue a career in the tourism industry. He fell in love with the beauty of the Granada, the richness and variety of its history, the joy of its people and of course its gastronomy, like so many tourists who visit the city every year. Despite being a destination of choice for so many, Eric believes in responsible tourism and is always in favour of local guides, supports small businesses and believes that a different kind of tourism is possible. One in which tradition and culture are always shown by the locals and the traveler has an experience of much more than the obligatory photographs. Eric and the rest of the team will receive you with arms wide open.

Federico Vasco Garcia

I am passionate about tourism and public relations, a people’s person, living through and for them. I am also passionate about hospitality and welcoming people to Barcelona, but also to Spain, so that they can enjoy, discover and learn about this beautiful country.

Filipa loves to travel and communicate, with a degree in Sciences of Communication believes that join the two loves it’s just the perfect decision. Born and raised in the amazing fairytale villa of Sintra, and proud of it. She has traveled to some countries of Europe and add several roadtrips in Portugal and Spain. Filipa Rodrigues

Filipa always wanted to work in Tourism. Her passion for other languages and enthusiasm for exploring her own country and others is what drives her!  She studied foreign languages, and specialized in Tourist Information. It is her goal to discover more of Portugal and Spain and to use her knowledge to put together wonderful experiences for her clients. Filipe Mata

Discovering the unknown has always been one of Filipe’s ambitions. Over the years, Filipe embarked on road trips across the European and American continents. For him, traveling by car is the best way to get to know the local culture and discover the best that each country has to offer. Traveling and Marketing have always been present in Filipe’s life, from a very young age.  As a Marketeer, Filipe considers that his travels are fundamental to his work, as it improves his understanding of people’s behaviors and motivations.

Frederico Rodrigues

Travelling and all the memories that come with it have always been his passion. It all started when he went on a safari quest in Namibia and South Africa and it hasn’t stopped ever since. Graduated in Hospitality Management, Frederico has travelled all over Europe, Africa, worked abroad in hospitality for three years in Rome and São Paulo, what has given him the privilege to work in different multicultural environments, meeting people from all over the world and experiencing different cultures. In love with his country and with what it has got to offer, Frederico found himself promoting Portugal and Spain as travel destinations to other travelers every time he could. Today he puts together all his experience to give our customers the best tours that won’t be easily forgotten.

Giovanna Agostini

Giovanna is Italian but she feels a citizen of the world. Her passion for travelling and exploring new cultures led her to move from Milan to Florida, Barcelona and now Lisbon where, joining TourTailors, she has the chance to promote three of the countries she calls “home”. Giovanna has always been an art and culture passionate since high school and then college where she graduated in Economics for Cultural Management. “What is the best way to promote art, heritage and the culture of a country if not through tourism?”, she asks herself. This is why she decided to achieve a Master in International Tourism and Hospitality Management and work with people that share her same passion. She never misses the chance to discover a new place and meet diverse people that can inspire her and teach her something in her journey through life!

Gonçalo Oliveira

Born in Lisbon in the year of 1996, Gonçalo realized from an early age that traveling was something he loved. His passion for traveling led him to join the Tourism Management Graduation, in the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril, in 2015, which he concluded in 2018. Very communicative and charismatic, Gonçalo has an obvious taste for organizing and planning events and trips. He considers himself to be a simple and methodical peson, and has a huge desire to make the World a better place. Focused on the relationship and customer service, Gonçalo thinks he is in the right place to advise and prepare our costumers trips in both Portugal and Spain. On a personal level, he is cheerful, available and effective. With an enormous interest in Sports, he entices this interest to the desire to know the entire World.

Inês Martins

Inês always had a passion for Portugal’s Heritage and Culture. When she had to choose her career, the choice was obvious: a degree on Touristic Information and Destination Management! Having roots on one of the oldest neighborhoods of Lisbon and also from the plains of central Alentejo, she has no doubt her small country is different from region to region. Even though she travelled to different countries, from the Americas to Europe, she is passionate about Portugal, mostly because of this country’s etnography: she is always ready to tell you the trivias, the legends and the myths of each region or town. Inês also has a very special relationship with Sintra, having lived there her whole life and also having worked for several years on the most breathtaking monuments in Portugal.

João Galinha

João has always had a taste for the Portuguese territory and the culture and heritage that goes well beyond Lisbon and Porto. And it was this passion that led him to study Tourism. Exploring Portugal and discovering the interesting villages within the country made João realize that he wanted to expand his knowledge and start to explore the world and beauty that lies off the beaten path.

João Silva

Tourism is João’s passion and you can see it once you have the chance to meet him. Fascinated by the Travel Market, He has based his career in Tourism and Customer Service. After a Hospitality management degree, João started to develop a good multicultural awareness and became really interested in not only learning new cultures and languages, but to have an influence on Portuguese visitors, in order to make them get to know better and understand the Country he loves. Sharing the Portuguese culture has been the most important part of João’s professional and personal life. Having a passion for both Portugal and Tourism, makes João a great asset for travelers who search for the true authentic hidden gems of Portugal.

Johnny

To say Johnny has a big heart is an understatement. Accompanied with a sincere smile, Johnny is a jack of all trades, he will keep you engaged and inspired throughout your trip. Johnny was born in New York and worked in hospitality for 15 years, he is the “Italian father” that you imagine making pizza and mozzarella! Dubbed the “Italian Sean Connery” his charm will win you over and his knowledge will leave you boasting to your friends and family on what you now know about Italy!

José Quelhas

José is what you call a true local, born and raise in the Capital of Portugal, Lisbon. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and experiences. His degree on Management of Tourism Companies allowed him to have already professional experiences in Hospitality, Local Lodging, Touristic Animation and performed as a Guest Service Officer in the most prestigious Cruise Company operating the seven seas. Any excuse is enough to discover another place that his never been to, for it’s the surprise and the feeling of discovering something new that improves the experience, and there are so many new places to discover. That’s why he joined TourTailors, to provide you with his knowledge of the places he knows and wants you to know!

Juan José Pardo Eimil

Born in the northwest of the northwest of Spain (Coruña, Galicia) he moved to Barcelona in 1984.  Inquisitive for/of cultures, languages, people, and history he worked as Tour Leader all through Europe during years, while He was working as well as Official Local Guide of Catalonia.  Teacher of new guides, student of humanities at the University.  Delving into the old Barcelona’s archives, walking around the city, trying to discover the secrets that Barcelona hides. Since five years ago collaborates with TourTailors designing private walking tours in Barcelona for their guests, in order to share with them Barcelona’s history, stories and secrets.

Juan Serrano

Juan Carlos is Spanish and he has lived in Madrid since he was born. At university he studied Computer Science and was dedicated to it for more than 13 years. His passion for dealing every day with different people and different cultures led him to the tourism sector, as a private driver. He and 14 other colleagues are responsible for transfers in and out of Madrid as well as private experiences both in Madrid and in the nearby cities such as Toledo, Segovia, etc. What motivates Juan Carlos the most in his work is that every day is different, every day there are new people and, on many occasions, he discovers with the passengers of TourTailors places that not even in his best dreams he thought he was going to visit. Juan Carlos thinks that his job is the most beautiful in the world.

Marco Teodonio

Marco is a licensed tour guide in Rome. He was born and raised in the eternal city. He has been working as a tour guide for 15 years now and his passion is the same as it was in 2008 when he started his profession after a Master Degree in History. He loves to show you the monuments and the archeological sites of Rome but he also focuses your attention on what he tells you and how he tells you: the stories, the facts, the rumors, the games, and everything you need to know about the city of the Colosseum and the Vatican. When you visit Rome with Marco you learn and laugh and plus you can try local food, wine, coffee and more. It is very easy to fall in love with a city like Rome, but with him your trip is gonna be memorable.

Margarida Carvalho

Reading is one of Margarida’s favourite hobbies as it allows her to travel in space and time. There is nothing like curling in a sofa with a book in a rainy afternoon. If it’s sunny, then it is time to enjoy the outdoors – whether in a city or in nature. One of her best ways to spend her free time is walking and discovering places and corners, either in a new location or somewhere she already knows, since there is always something new to see and feel. With a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures, Margarida enjoys attracting others to travel through her writing.

Maria Morais

Maria was born in the village of Cascais, where she lived all her life. Her degree on Hotel Management allowed her to have interesting professional experiences in Hospitality and Guest Service in some prestigious hotels in Lisbon and a Cruise Company. From a young age she has developed the taste for travelling, since her first trip to France at the age of 12 years old and hasn’t stopped going around the world ever since. Now, she hopes that she can explore more of her own country and neighbours with all the experiences shared in TourTailors!

Marta Nascimento

Marta has a degree in Communication Sciences and travelling is her passion. She is part of the TourTailors BackOffice team, helping to provide our customers unique and unforgettable travel moments. She loves her job and her main goal is to come to work every day with a big smile and her usual positive energy!

Michele Gualtieri

Michele Gualtieri is a professional chef, with experience working in some of the most prestigious and Michelin-star restaurants, in Italy and around the world. When it comes to pasta, though, he learned everything from his nonna, a true pasta maker from Emilia-Romagna, who passed her love and expertise for authentic italian pasta on to her grandson. Michele now runs pasta making workshops in Florence, where pupils learn everything from the secret to achieving an amazing pasta dough, to an introduction to different types of closing – ravioli, tortellini, cappellacci… The list goes on!

Nuno Adriano

Everything in Nuno is connected with the Estrela Mountain, Portugal. Nuno has a degree in Sports Science and has been a local guide since 2004. Has an extraordinary knowledge of his territory, specifically themes related to geology, flora and fauna in mountainous areas, without forgetting the vast, rich and secular local history. As a hiking and touristic guide, what matters most to him is that when clients return home, they remember the good times spent at Estrela Mountain and Historic Villages of Portugal. It is a sign that his work has been well done.

Nuno Oliveira

Nuno grew up in a family related to the tourism industry but from young age he had his own vision how tourism services should be. So in the year of 200,1 at the age of 25, he started his own company and specialized in the upscale private transport and tours services being one of the first companies to do so in the North of Portugal. His company has been setting the level of the upscale services since then and became one of the main suppliers of the key 5-star hotels of Porto and high-end travel agencies around the world that look for services in the north of Portugal.

Pedro de Blas

Pedro graduated in Economics and from a very young age his vocation has been gastronomy and Spanish history. On a personal level, he took a professional cook degree from the Madrid City Council and several certificates in Spanish wine tasting. His personal and professional challenge is to promote Spanish gastronomy and culture through his company.

Pedro Duque

A hardworking computer worker and a large family father, in which everyone loves to travel. Considering all the diversity that our country offers, they have focused their travels and family vacations in Portugal, with some incursions to Spain – land of his paternal grandmother. Invited by Eduardo Cláudio to embrace TourTailors projects, he accepted it with the enthusiasm that innovative and challenging projects offer. Certain that the knowledge of our Travel Consultants allows TourTailors to have the most extensive and deep knowledge of the country, he take’s advantage of this knowledge to offer his family even more enjoyable and relaxing trips.

Pedro Rebelo

I was born in Coimbra, and I’ve embraced my profession as an Official Guide to the fullest in 2018, even though working in Tourism and Heritage since 2010. My academic studies led me through degrees in History, Heritage and Tourism. This past year I also became a teacher in Heritage and Tourism. I’m a passionate professional, loving my work as a Guide, my city and my Country. Since 2018, TourTailors and I have been working together and it’s an amazing experience! Rita Bernardo

Rita was born in Cascais, near Lisbon, and believes that it were the weekend detours with her parents when she was little that got her so interested in exploring the country, wandering through new sites and places, as well as understanding their history. The fact that she has always been keen on communicating with new people, led her to a Journalism degree, with the hopes of being able to tell what she sees and witnesses through her writing and also her photography, her two main occupations. Rita loves to explore new sights, acknowledge different cultures and is very enthusiastic about independent travelling. Now she hopes to share what she has learned with you, by suggesting new settings for fresh adventures and happy memories.

Rosa Terrones

Rosa is in love with Granada and her job and finds the experience of meeting visitors and introducing them into the beauty and the cultural topics of the city amazing. After 20 years of professional activity, knowing people from different parts of the world still provides a constant learning and enjoyment. Listening to the traveler’s own live adventures is an incredible source of information and helps her to create their best story-telling program. To answer questions or to ask them, provides an interesting conversation and a great information exchange. She believes that being a tourist guide is the best job, it is like being on holidays all the time. Clients are optimistic and happy, and it is my job providing them the best experience for the time we spend together. Guides spend hours and hours looking for the most amazing spaces and perspectives. Trying to find the best presentation and looking for the way to impressed the visitor with the panoramic, with the architecture or with the explanation. Sara is an Art Historian specialized in Medieval Art History at University of Pavia, and an official licensed guide in Milan. As an expert in art and tourism she co-wrote the 2012 Red guides for Touring Club Italiano and has been collaborating to Rick Steves’ Italy since 2013. .
She started her activity as a guide in Milan in 2004, after her master degree in Art, and some different experiences in teaching Italian literature and art. She grew up in Milan, where her family has been established for about 100 years. When you visit the city with her, she will be able to bring history to life, and you will be surprised by the extraordinary milanese atmosphere. She loves her job, she loves in particular to talk about Leonardo da Vinci in Milan, the Renaissance time, the Sforza family… She indeed considers history a necessary basis for building a strong civil society.

Sofia Martins

One of Sofia’s passions is to explore Portugal and Spain, which considers unique countries, for their heritage and cultural richness, varied scenic beauty and rich and tasty cuisine. Graduated in Tourism and with a postgraduate degree in Business Management and Strategy, in TourTailors she has the opportunity to combine her taste for tourism together with the administrative and financial area, ensuring a quality service through a crucial role she plays in back-office. Sofia was born in the calm and beautiful Oeiras coastal town and always watched the Tagus River horizon with a glimmering glow in her eyes longing for the adventure of travelling. A Fine Arts student, majored on Design and Photography, she has always worked in creative departments and teaching. Europe and Africa are her favorite destinations but she always considered Portugal and Spain as the most memorable experiences inducers. Naturally fascinated by tourism, culture, civilizations, arts and food, that to her represent interest, experimentation and knowledge, she embraced the TourTailors concept, where she feels fulfilled sharing experiences in this journey with co-workers and clients.

Uilque is dedicated to his family and loves travelling, so combining this two is one of his favorite ways to pass the time. He is keen on discovering new cultures and places and has already visited several countries in Europe, America and Africa. With more than 10 years of experience in software development and web solutions, he considers himself passionate about the IT area, always looking to expand his knowledge and renew his working methods. A Portuguese in love both with Portugal and Spain, since her mother’s side of the family comes originally from Seville. Studied Tourism at University and got a degree as an Interpreter Guide precisely because she knew that her true passion was to travel and to be in contact with many different cultures. And that’s exactly what she did for three years, having now returned to tell you all about it. Indeed to tell you about the secrets and hidden gems that are only familiar to a native.
