“Two years after our (group of 6) originally planned private tour of Portugal, we were finally able to complete this awesome trip in September 2023. Selecting Portugal Trails was the best choice we had made for this trip. During pandemic when we canceled the trip, they fully refunded our deposit and offered same price for 2021. Alas we had to wait for 2022. Portugal Trails planned an amazing itinerary for us. We traveled from Porto, Douro Valley to Algarve region to Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais and back home. We worked with couple of travel consultant with the company but Filipa was best. She answered all our questions patiently, be it via emails or phone calls. She even modified the original itinerary to include a detour to the world’s longest suspension pedestrian bridge 516 Arrouca. All the hotels were top notch and in good location. Our driver Antonio was very friendly and safe driver. Our Porto, Sagres and Lisbon guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Three hours were not enough. It is so hard to describe 11 days in an amazing country on a well planned trip by a company that knows what they are doing. Kudos to Portugal Trails for helping us making memories of lifetimes. Can’t wait to be back in Portugal to explore more.”
