The hotel in Belmonte was simply exquisite. “We have been back in Oregon nearly two days and still feel the warmth of Portugal. In fact we are going Port shopping later. In a word we had a fantastic trip. Working with you was easy and you were always timely and responsive. Portugal itself is amazing – people, history, culture, food, landscape. You cannot take credit for that, however the experiences you arranged that showed these things off are to your credit. The route, villages and cities we saw were great. We had a great diversity of experiences including the ones you arranged such as Fado, tours and boat rides. I would say all the local guides were excellent. Amazingly the transfers, even with a couple travel delays, went perfectly. We stayed in a great variety of accommodations and the level was right. Such fun! (…) We added a sunset tour of Sagres as we are not really sunbathers and we would highly recommend it as an option. Finally, for us, having a private driver was the best thing we could have done. We could see everything, take photos or nap, and we were never worried about highways, tiny village streets, parking or became irritable at each other. Our driver was wonderful, polite, a fine driver, made good suggestions, did whatever we needed, helped with luggage and made lunch arrangements.”
