“We absolutely loved our time in Portugal. Our accommodations were excellent. Our tuk tuk was exceptional. Cooking school was good.  Day in sintra was nice. Fado was excellent. We did not do day trips on way to Porto but stopped at Fátima. We loved that experience. Porto was beautiful, boat ride was one of our favorite activities of the tour. Évora was a great place. It didn’t have as much time as we wanted there. On way to Algarve did not stop at designated stops but did stop at an ancient rock structure that has recently been excavated. That was very interesting. Algarve was beautiful. Our accommodations were perfect. Took a boat ride after all.  Rosario was our guide/ driver and she was very conscientious and made us feel very safe. I would recommend her Overall we were very happy  As we are getting older and slowing down a little we thought maybe 3 destinations instead of four would have slowed down the pace a little. You have a beautiful country and provided excellent servisse. Cannot thank you enough.”

“Hello Nuno, Portugal is wonderful – and you were right, the road system in the country is very good.  Below are some comments. Hotel in Lisbon is WONDERFUL.  Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and knew their city well.  All their advise was perfect.  We are ‘walkers’ so we felt the hotel location was great. The guide for the Lisbon walking tour was very good.  The Fado dinner was a lot of fun. The car rental in Lisbon was very convenient to get to and everything was in order.  We got out of the city just fine.  Once again the tour guide for Porto was excellent. The day trip to the Douro Valley was very nice. Everything went well for us – it was easy to just hand over the vouchers for each hotel and tour, and have the car reserved.  The travel book was nice to have ahead of time.  Having photos of the hotels etc. was good because we knew what we were looking for once we drove into Porto and Evora.  We consider ourselves travelers instead of tourists so we always recover fast from a disappointment or missed turn – we always know there might be something better around the corner.  Missing the Vasco painting gave us time to relax and enjoy a Ruby Porto at the Pousada in a lovely sitting area on a rainy day.  Missing the 2-hour boat ride gave us time to be served coffee like royalty on the beautiful patio at the Vintage House. Thanks for all your help – we loved Portugal – everyone we met was friendly and helpful. The best cheese in the world!!”
