“Hi Joana,  Wishing you a Merry Christmas.  We had a wonderful holiday in Portugal and truly enjoyed the tour you had planned.  The only disappointment was really the heavy rain we experienced on the day we visited Sintra but I guess that means we’ll have to come back to Portugal some day for us to see all the various sites in Sintra.  The accommodation was excellent throughout but I would like to highlight Vintage House in Douro Valley.  The location, room and the service by all hotel staff were all outstanding.  The room at Pousada de Belmonte could have been bigger but the quality of the food served at the restaurant more than made up for that.  We enjoyed the guided tours in Lisbon, Porto and Evora and had a great time with all three tour guides.  Special mention should go to Paolo in Evora.  His knowledge, enthusiasm and friendliness made it an unforgettable morning. We also had a great last evening in Evora improving our Portugese cooking skills together with the fun and engaging Sofia.  A fantastic way to finish our visit to Evora and something we would highly recommend to others visiting Evora. Thanks again for helping to plan what turned out to be a very memorable holiday for us.”
